Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a gentle yet powerful therapeutic method that helps access the places in the brain and body where trauma, stress, and emotional pain are stored. By focusing on specific eye positions that connect to these deeper processing areas, Brainspotting allows the nervous system to release what talking alone often cannot reach.
This isn’t about forcing change, it’s about allowing your body’s natural wisdom to guide healing, in a safe and supportive environment.

  How Brainspotting Works

When something overwhelming happens, the experience can get “stuck” in the nervous system. Even when you understand it logically, your body may still hold the memory, tension, or emotional charge. Brainspotting uses mindful attention and gentle eye gaze to locate and unlock these stored experiences in your brain, so your system can process and integrate them. Clients often describe Brainspotting sessions as surprisingly calming, with a sense of release, clarity, and reconnection afterward.

How It Fits My Approach

In my practice, Brainspotting is one of the threads I weave into a holistic, Soul-Woven approach. I may combine it with:
  • Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) / Rest & Restore Protocol (RRP): sound-based tools that prepare your nervous system for safety and receptivity.
  • Reiki-Assisted Psychotherapy: energy-based support that helps you stay grounded and within your window of tolerance.
  • HeartMath practices: simple techniques for regulating your heart and emotions, giving you tools to use in daily life.
Together, these methods create a field of safety and resonance so your body and soul can release what’s stuck and reconnect with your truest self.

Is Brainspotting right for you?

  • You’ve tried talking but still feel “stuck.”
  • You notice patterns repeating, even when you understand them.
  • You want to release old experiences at a deeper, body-based level.
  • Old patterns or trauma loops keep repeating.
  • You’re open to a gentle, non-invasive process that trusts your body’s wisdom.
